Reviews for Sterling Silver Marcasite and Garnet Colored Glass Heart Pendant, 18" (Jewelry) This is a finely-crafted piece, and I was once afraid after studying some of the reviews here that the intestines would not fit neatly in the casing, but it does. The heart can also be wider than I anticipated. Nevertheless, by some implys it is less stunning that the picture recommends. It's somewhat flatter than I althought it would be, and I was expecting mild purple glass, but it's so dark it seems uninteresting brown. Because of this, it would not look as spectacular even with the lend a hand of the silver case, and whereas it can be without a doubt no longer bad, it's below my expectations. I is no longer going to be returning it, although, since the silver chain is actually beautiful. It in reality sparkles in the mild, and I'm ok with it. Was it worth $50, just for that? No, but I'll live. It simply would've been a lot prettier if the center had been closer to the lighter colour in the image.

The pendant would not appear to be well made as the glass heart does not neatly match into the metal piece. I supposed to give this pendant to a pal of mine for her birthday however now I'm not so certain. Don't set the bar up to high you might be disenchanted.

The coronary heart that I recieved was once very flat and now not transparent as depicted within the image. Actually, when evaluating the stone to a stone shade scale, it is a darkish amber and now not even with reference to the the rest crimson. I ordered this for my wife as a gift for valentines, this made me embarrassed to present it as a present as a consequence of I had exhibitn her the image of what was on the best possible means. I had to express her the image as a consequence of Amazon said that if I ordered the thing at once, I can be recieving it the day prior to Valentines, this was once a mistaken. I received it on 2/19/09. Even with a white shirt, the good metal work in the again is not going to ever be seen through the stone by using an admirer. The stone and metallic aren't definitely worth the marked up cost. I went to a local jewelry store and located something significantly better for an an identical quantity for my spouse. This shall be my first return because the pictures are misleading, and should be corrected.
